European Journal of Information Systems
A model has been proposed specific to SME using the DTPB. Case study approach.

Information Systems Journal
The IS continuance model proposed by Bhattacharya (2001,2004) has been extended by imposing the UTAUT and empirically testing the same. 
Uses an alternative to Rogers' diffusion theory such as information processing theory to explain that organisation with higher information processing needs will be more likely to use IT innovation.

Information Systems Research
Five personality traits namely: (a) conscientiousness, or the degree of organization, persistence, and motivation in goal-directed behav- ior; (b) extraversion, described by being sociable, gre- garious, and ambitious; (c) neuroticism, or emotional instability, characterized by insecurity, anxiousness, and hostility; (d) openness to experience, represented by flexibility of thought and tolerance of new ideas; and (e) agreeableness, represented by a compas- sionate interpersonal orientation. These traits can be used to examine owner characteristics in small business. This study is experimental in university setting using MBA students.

Journal of Information Technology
A case study approach studying aspects of management control. The study examines a set of skills assumed to exist by the toolmaker and the differences  in this assumption as identified from the user.
Case study approach. Systems of innovation approach to examine public programme intervention in adoption of e-business system.
Survey paper of 345 articles from 1985 to 2007 in 19 IS Journals related to acceptance adoption and diffusion of IS.
The article proposes to involve theories from other field of sciences using the Action Research or Design Research.
Four SMEs were examined for the basis of decision making in adopting an ERP system.

Journal of Management Information Systems
Extends the UTAUT with new constructs to examine adoption of collaboration technology. The data is collected from individuals in university setting.
A highly mathematical study using Rogers model as justification.

Journal of the Association for Information Systems
A model is presented based on theoretical review. The model tries to integrate the two interrelated aspects of adoption and use of IT artifact. However the model is not based on a actual study. The model has also been attempted to be made dynamic. The model could be used for study of social media adoption since it covers user characteristics, user beliefs, and users appropriation of  the use of social media tool.

A new model has been proposed in the use of IT systems with the introduction of behaioural expectation in line with Bhattacharjee investigation. The use has has been categorised by duration, frequency and intensity.  

The Journal of Strategic Information Systems
Quantitative survey. ‘External pressure’ and ‘perceived benefits’ are predictors of eCommerce adoption.
